What is NFSea?
A collection of 5000 pieces of digital art. The attributes of the artworks are hand drawn and then combined using computer generating technology. The collection is called NFSea as the collection is an NFT art collection based off Sea creatures with focus on ocean conservation. An NFT (Non-fungible Token) artwork is an artwork which is converted into a piece of data and then stored on a public ledger called the Blockchain. This transforms each artwork into a uniquely identifiable token which can be sold and traded. The collection is made for people who want to help the ocean at the same time as gaining some awesome digital art and joining the crypto community. The collection is designed, created and masterminded by an eighteen year old girl from South Africa who wants to share her artworks with people who are invested in the environment and would like to see a showcase collection based off of ocean conservation in an African context.
How do we help?
The ultimate aim of this project is to help clean up our oceans. In purchasing an artwork, you are not only gaining your own epic, unique character but supporting ocean conservation and clean up. This is achieved by a portion of the profits from your artwork being a donation, in your character’s name, to GreenPeace Africa. If you ever choose to resell your character, this donation will continue to accumulate.
